Who We Are
More than just a betting platform — taxi88 is a community of Malaysian players who have believed in a safe, fair, and enjoyable gaming experience from the very beginning.
Taxi88 was founded with a very clear vision — to build an online entertainment platform genuinely designed for Malaysian players. Not simply taking an overseas platform and translating it, but building something from the ground up that truly understands the habits, needs, and culture of local players.
We started this journey in 2018 with a small but passionate team and one principle that has never changed — players come first. Not profit, not growth metrics, not membership numbers alone. Player trust and satisfaction are the foundation everything is built on.
Today, taxi88 has grown into one of Malaysia's most comprehensive online entertainment platforms — with over 500 games spanning Live Casino, slots, progressive jackpots, table games, and Sports Betting on badminton, cricket, and football. Yet our founding principles remain unchanged: everything in MYR, all through local payment methods, and all held to uncompromising standards of security and transparency.
We're proud to be the platform of choice for over 500,000 registered members across Malaysia — from Kuala Lumpur, Selangor, and Penang to Sabah, Sarawak, and every corner of the country. The diversity of our player community reflects Malaysia itself, and that's what makes this journey so meaningful to us at taxi88.
We are more than a platform — we are a partner in your entertainment experience. Your trust is a responsibility we carry with the utmost respect.
— The Taxi88 Team

All games, including live dealer and Sports Betting, run smoothly through the web browser on any Android or iPhone device with no app download required. Optimised for Malaysia's 4G LTE networks.
Starting with a Welcome Bonus of up to RM588 for new members, taxi88 also offers 5%–12% weekly cashback, daily reload bonuses, Hari Raya and local festival promotions, plus a VIP programme with exclusive perks. We are always looking for ways to give more value to our loyal members — not just newcomers.
Every step we take is aimed at delivering a better experience for Malaysian players. Here's a summary of our journey from the very beginning.
We understand that player trust isn't given automatically — it has to be earned and maintained every single day. Every decision we make, from bonus terms to withdrawal policies, is made with the player's best interests in mind. taxi88 has never, and will never, retroactively change rules in ways that disadvantage players.
The RTP (Return to Player) for every game on taxi88 is clearly stated. Bonus terms and conditions are written in plain, easy-to-understand language — not confusing legal jargon. Your full transaction and game history is accessible at any time from within your account. Nothing is hidden.
Taxi88 provides responsible gambling management tools including daily deposit limits, loss limits, wagering limits, and the option to take a temporary break or suspend your account. We also offer resources for players who need support managing their gambling habits. Healthy entertainment is what we're all about.
The world of technology and entertainment moves fast. taxi88 is committed to staying ahead — whether in gaming technology, the latest payment methods, or a better overall user experience. We listen to player feedback and use it as our guide for continuous improvement.
At taxi88, we want every player to feel like part of something bigger — not just another account in the system. Our VIP programme, along with special promotions for Hari Raya, Chinese New Year, Deepavali, and other Malaysian celebrations, reflects our commitment to honouring the diversity of our player community.
A dedicated team working around the clock to ensure the best possible experience for you
Every taxi88 team member undergoes thorough background checks and is bound by strict confidentiality policies. We invest continuously in training and professional development to keep our team performing at their best.
Three core pillars of trust we have upheld since day one
Taxi88 operates under a licence issued by a recognised regulatory authority. This means our operations are subject to regular audits, fair gaming standards (certified RNG), and player fund protection. You can play with confidence knowing that taxi88 is no fly-by-night platform — we're here for the long run.
All slots and table games at taxi88 use a Random Number Generator (RNG) certified by independent testing bodies. This ensures every slot spin, every hand of baccarat, and every round of roulette is completely random and cannot be manipulated by anyone — including taxi88 itself. The RTP for every game is publicly disclosed.
Funds you deposit into your taxi88 account are held separately from the company's operational funds. This means your money is always protected and available for withdrawal, no matter what. We do not use player funds for operational or investment purposes — that is our commitment to the financial security of every taxi88 member.
When we say taxi88 is a platform built for Malaysian players, we mean every word — and it's not just a marketing tagline. In practice, that means our platform interface is available in natural, proper Bahasa Malaysia, not awkward translations riddled with confusing technical jargon.
On the financial side, all values are stated in Malaysian Ringgit (RM) — no exchange rates to calculate, no uncertainty about what your money is actually worth. Deposit RM100 and you play with RM100. Win RM500 and RM500 lands in your account. Simple and straightforward.
On the support side, when you reach out to the taxi88 support team, you will be assisted by agents who are fully comfortable communicating in Bahasa Malaysia. They understand the local context, appreciate how Malaysian players think, and can provide effective solutions — without you having to struggle with agents unfamiliar with local culture.
On the gaming side, we make sure the sports that Malaysian players actually care about — BWF badminton, EPL and Malaysia Super League football, cricket — get the coverage they deserve. We do not just focus on the larger European or American markets. Local players' needs are our priority.
At taxi88, we believe healthy entertainment is the key to a genuinely enjoyable long-term experience. That's why we invest seriously in responsible gaming tools and resources — not because we're required to, but because we truly care about the wellbeing of our players.
The tools we provide include daily and weekly deposit limits that you can set yourself, loss limits to protect your bankroll, maximum bet limits per session, and the option to temporarily pause your account or close it entirely if needed. All of these tools can be self-activated directly from within your taxi88 account without needing to contact customer support.
We also provide information and links to support organisations for anyone who feels that gambling is beginning to affect their daily life. If you or someone you know needs help, don't hesitate to make use of the resources we've made available on our Responsible Gaming.
Please note — taxi88 is strictly for users aged 18 and above. We apply a rigorous age verification process and continuously enhance our systems to ensure the platform remains inaccessible to minors.
Taxi88 does not sell, lend, or share your personal data with third parties without your consent. All information is protected under our Privacy Policy, which complies with international data protection standards. Read Privacy Policy page for full details.
